Our Calming Formula uses herbs that have multi use as a digestive aid. In the March 2008 issue from Journal of Equine Veterinary Science study of why horses crib. They have found cribbing helps to stimulate saliva production and soothe gastrointestinal irritation. The saliva has a high concentration of bicarbonate which helps to protect the stomach from gastric acids.
